Leonard S Murphy Sr.

Born November 20, 1935 in Bridgeton, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Sylvanus Wolf Murphy and Lovina Summers Murphy.

Mr. Murphy was a veteran of the United States Navy. He retired from the printing and corrugated industry.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Ann Murphy, one daughter, Cheryl Murphy and a granddaughter, Amanda McKinney.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will truly be missed by his family and those that knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are three daughters, Linda Moore, Patty Lamb and Karen Hathcock and one son, Leonard Murphy, Jr. He also is survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Pendry’s Funeral Home on Monday, April 9, 2012 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Services for Mr. Murphy will be held at a later date in New Jersey.
