Lila "Shorty" Bush Huntley, age 98, of Lenoir passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Hickory Falls Health and Rehab. She was born on August 25, 1926, in Caldwell County to the late L.G. and Toye Bush.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Huntley, her brothers Hearon Bush and Hicks Bush, and her sisters Laura W. Smith and Avna Cowen.
Left to cherish Lila's memory are her daughter Linda Teeters, son-in-law Joey Teeters, sister-in-law Ginger Watson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 30th, 2025, at Colliers United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2625 Clarks Chapel Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Colliers United Methodist Church or Amorem Hospice, 902 Kirkwood Street NW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
