Mrs. Price was born May 20, 1943 In Caldwell County to the late Carroll Edgar Small Sr and Jewel Pearson Small.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband and soul mate, , William “Frank” Price, brothers, Jerold Small, Butch Small, Doug Small, sister, Peggy Sams and a son-in-law Johnny Upchurch.
Mrs. Price was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church and was actively attending Calvary Advent Christian Church. She was retired from Broyhill Industries. Linda was a loving and dedicated wife mother and grandmother. She loved to play golf and enjoyed Elvis Presley music very much. She loved spending time with her family; it truly was her greatest joy. Her children were blessed to have her as a mother. Linda and her husband Frank brought their children up to know that love, determination, forgiveness and acceptance was what it took to make a marriage and family work. To know Linda, was to love her and she will be missed greatly.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Paul Douglas Price of Leland, Daughters, Frankie Lynn Upchurch of Lenoir, Mandy Marie Royal and husband Terry of Lenoir, brother, Dennis Small,of Lenoir, sisters, Doris Laws of Lenoir, Gail Murphy of Baton, a granddaughter, Amber Lynn Nelson of Lenoir and brothers-in-law, Steve Price and wife Linda and Kevin Price and wife Tammy.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 2:30 pm at Blue Ridge Memorial Park with Rev. Jim Lee officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Winkler, Shawn Small, Douglas “Spankie” Small, Kenny Murphy, Chad Murphy and Tim Laws. Honorary Pallbearers will be Austin Price, Stevie Price, Scott Price and Phillip Price.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the graveside service, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home.
