Linda Faye Wood Stevens, age 73 of Lenoir, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 29, 2022 at her residence. Born Monday, November 14, 1949 to the late Hazel Greene and Allie Wood in Caldwell County.
An addition to her parents she is proceeded in death by, son Ashley Stevens, daughter Sandra Hodge, and Johnny Duncan which Linda was the special care giver for.
Ms. Stevens is survived by her daughters Michelle Wood (Jeff Jones) and Charity Dillard (Joey). Grand daughters Madeline Paszek-Lowman, Myra Paszek-Stevens, Ella Dillard, Lilly Dillard, and grandson Rylan Saulmon. Sister Tammy Hutchinson, four Great grandchildren along with a number of nieces and nephews.
Linda, retired from working in the furniture industry and will be remembered for her loving gracious heart towards others and helping those in need. She was a one-of-a-kind lady and always left an impression on the privileged people that were able to meet her. She enjoyed searching for antique items, restoring furniture, and visits to the local flea market.
The Stevens family will receive friends Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm at Calvary Advent Christian Church.
The family lead Memorial Service for Linda will be held at Calvary Advent Christian Church, on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 2:00 pm with the Pastor Jim Lee officiating.
Inurnment will be with the family.
