Lois Delphia Bush, age 91 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Hickory Falls Health and Rehab. Lois was born Wednesday April 22, 1931 to the late Delphia Hurtt and Roy Brown in Morgan County Tennessee. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Luther Hicks Bush. Five brothers Roy, Ellard, Norman, Colonel, and Jack Brown. Five sisters, Wava Brown, Lena Williams, Lefa Young, Loma Harvey, and Elizabeth Keller.
Mrs. Bush was a wonderful house wife and was a great cook. She was a member of Colliers United Methodist church where she served as the prayer chain contact person and enjoyed her time being a member of the United Methodist Women. Lois grew beautiful flowers that everyone loved.
Those left to cherish her memory include numerous nieces and nephews and step-son Reggie Bush of Columbia, South Carolina.
The Bush family will hold a graveside service on Thursday May 5th, 2022 at 11:00 am. at Colliers United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2625 Clarks Chapel Rd, Cajah's Mountain, NC 28645.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Colliers United Methodist Church and or Amroem Hospice.
