Loretta Hollar Cloer

Loretta Hollar Cloer, age 86, of Hudson passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. She is loved and missed beyond measure. Although we grieve her loss, we rejoice in the knowledge that she is with her Lord and Savior, and we will see her again one day.

Loretta was a loving wife, mother, and sister. She was a longtime, active member of Hudson First Baptist. She had a green thumb and loved to work in her garden. Everything she planted in her yard grew beautifully. She loved to decorate and shared this passion while helping others as a sales associate at Thomas Home Furnishings for 25 years.

Loretta is survived by her husband of 66 years, Dallas Cloer, her daughter Debbie Wooten (her husband James), her son David Cloer (his wife Angela), her grandchildren Nick (Emilee), Logan (Ashley), Lindsey (Drew), and Joshua (Hannah), her great-grandchildren Ronan, Grayson, and Isabella, her sister Kay Hollar, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cember and Russell Hollar, her brother Johnny Hollar, and her sister Jean Proffit.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 11th at Hudson First Baptist Church. The memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Mack Jarvis.
