Loretta McRary Hollar

She was born in Caldwell County to the late Ross McRary and Paralee Walsh McRary on July 10, 1930.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor J. Hollar; son, Russell Allen Hollar; daughter, Gloria Jean Setzer; and sisters, Elmina Story, Louise Clonch, Gwendolyn McRary, and Nellie Kanupp.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Harold Lee Hollar, Steven Victor Hollar and wife Sharon, both of Lenoir; daughter, Reba Ann Greene and husband Kenny of Lenoir; brother, Billy Jack McRary of Rutherford College; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hollar attended Heritage Pentecostal Church in Lenoir.

A funeral service honoring the life of Mrs. Hollar will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Pendry’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jordan Swink and Rev. Howard Smith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir.
