Louella Singleton Goins, age 92, of Granite Falls went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 21, 2025 in her home surrounded by her daughters. Louella was born on April 18, 1933, to the late Robert and Nora Singleton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Eugene Goins, her son Alfred Lee Goins, and her sister Josephine.
Left to cherish Louella's memory are her daughters Donna Lovins (husband Kent) of Lenoir, Martha Martin (husband Rick) of Hudson, and Debbie Goins of Hickory; her grandchildren Matthew Goins (wife Sharon), Donny Lovins (wife Megan), Dawn Houck (husband Cory), Timothy Goins (wife Amy), Michelle Martin (fiance Keith Miller), and Kevin Martin (wife Amanda); her great-grandchildren Grayson Lovins, Corbin Lovins, Mallory Houck, and Emilie Goble; and many beloved nieces, nephews, foster children, friends, and extended family members.
Louella worked at All Wood Furniture for many years. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and foster parent to dozens of children. She loved to garden and nothing would stop her from tending to her flowers. Louella was a Christian woman of faith. She was deeply loved by many and will be deeply missed by all.
A receiving of friends and family for Louella will be held Friday, September 26, 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home, 522 Wilkesboro Blvd SE, Lenoir, NC 28645. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Sam Craven.
Interment will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Lenoir. Pallbearers will be Keith Miller, Timothy Goins, Kevin Martin, Grayson Lovins, Donny Lovins, Corbin Lovins, Cory Houck, and honorary pallbearer Jerry Church.
