Mark Quincy Phillips

Mark Quincy Phillips, 47, of Lenoir passed away Monday, June 17, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Phillips was born in Caldwell County to Jerry Quincy Phillips of Lenoir and the late Linda Ann Church Phillips.

In addition to his father, those left to cherish his memory are his wife, the love of his life, Debra Enloe Phillips; his son, David Allen Phillips of Grainville, GA; his daughter, Haley Savannah Phillips of Lenoir; sons, Matthew Eric Bowlin of Lenoir, Gary E. Enloe Jr. and Matthew S. Enloe, both of Lenoir; a granddaughter, Jayden Faith Enloe.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Pendry’s Chapel with Pastor Ken Byrley and Pastor Randell Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow the service at Confidence Advent Christian Church. The family will receive friends at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home Friday, June 21, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Collins, Larry Garnes, Johnny Avery, Kenny Lafever, Justin Price, David Allen Day, Robert Avery and Bradley Simmons.

The family respectfully requests that memorials be made to Burke County Hospice and Palliative Care, 1721 Enon Road, Valdese, NC 28690.
