Mary Ward Moore

Mrs. Moore was born in Caldwell County to the late Stanley Thomas Ward and Viola Harmon. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Gary Vernon Moore; a son, Shannon G. Moore; two brothers, James and Johnny Ward; and two sisters, Rebecca Ferguson and Sue Mast.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, William Thomas Moore of Granite Falls, and Michael Vernon Moore and wife Brandy of Sawmills; her daughters, Tammy Moore Davenport and husband Everett of Granite Falls, and Susan Fulbright of Lenoir; her brother, Kenneth Ward of Boone; her sisters, Martha Forrester of Lenoir, and Carolyn Lowman of Vale; and seven grandchildren.

A graveside service for Mrs. Moore will be held Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Reverend Lynn Parsons officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 28, 2013 from 1:00-3:00 PM at Pendry’s Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Everett Davenport, Matthew Ward, Kenneth Ward, Stephen Forrester, Johnathan Walker and Riley Swink.
