Mary Roseanna Parsons

Mrs. Parsons was born in Chester County, PA to the late Luther William Lipfird, Sr. and Mary Letitia Redman Lipfird. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Charlie “Buddy” Parsons, Jr. She loved people and animals.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Rob Parsons and wife Karen of Granite Falls, and Danny Parsons of North Dakota; her brothers, Luther W. Lipfird, Jr. of Black Mountain, and Willard Leroy Redman of Shirleysburg, PA; her sister, Helen Boyer of Lenoir; her grandchildren, Joshua James Parsons, Tiffany Brooke Parsons, Mackenzie Ryann Parsons, Chloe Jill Parsons, Danny James Parsons and Kayla Brooke Parsons, and one great grandchild.

A funeral service will be held Friday, January 16, 2015 in Pendry’s Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Glenn Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
