Mary was born on February 3, 1946, in Caldwell County, NC, to the late Floyd McCallister Smith and Mary Etta Bean Smith.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Smith Jr.
She is survived by her son, Michael Smith of Lenoir, Sisters; Brenda Goble and husband Terrell of Lenoir and Patsy Blanton of Ellenboro along with several nieces and nephews.
