In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Charlie Triplett, her infant son Derrick Fender, siblings Ina Minton Hendrix, Willie Minton, Richard Minton, Emma Minton, Ruth Minton Hamby, Clinard Minton, Violet Minton Dollar, and Ila Minton Greene.
She is survived by her brother Paul Minton, her step-sons Steve Triplett and Terry Triplett, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Blue Ridge Memorial Park, 2017 Wilkesboro Boulevard, Lenoir, NC, officiated by Rev. Stephanie Pace.
