Morgan Brooks Sumpter

Brooks was born in Lenoir, North Carolina, on January 3, 1992, to Marty Sumpter and Amy Eggers.

He loved spending time with his friends, working on cars, and helping those in need. Brooks was a loving son, a supportive brother, and an irreplaceable part of his family.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 7:30 pm in the chapel of Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, from 5:30 until 7:30 at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home.

He is survived by his mother, Amy Eggers; brother, Joe Sumpter, his wife Blair, and their daughter Eva; sister, Brittany White, and her daughter Bryleigh, sister, Elizabeth Enloe; brother, Alex Enloe and grandfather, Edward Eggers—along with many other beloved family members and friends who will miss him deeply.

Brooks was preceded in death by his father, Martin Sumpter; great-grandmother, Annie Lou Price; and grandmother, Camilla Eggers.
