To the family: Be proud of your mother,  she loved the Lord and it was an honor to serve him. The Lord took care of many things in her life:  her health,  her problems, and her precious family. The things she accomplished in her life, the places she got to go, the people she took care of and most of  all the family she loved, her parents, her brothers  and sisters, her husband, and her children, grand-children and great-grandchildren.❤  To other members of her family she loved each of you also. Take the time to spend with a loved one for you know not when the Lord will call them to their heavenly home. Looking back over the last few days with Mother ...went to church on Wednesday night, spent Thanksgiving with her on Thursday and Friday afternoon she was gone to be with the Lord ❤

Mother, your life's journey began in the spring with flowers blooming, trees already green with leaves, skies were blue, the sun was shining and you were growing up in a time that was peaceful. The fifth girl child to be born in the Roberts family. Little did you know that one day you would leave Cherokee county and move to Caldwell county. God had a plan for yor life. ❤

At the end of a school day, one thing I enjoyed the most was coming home  and mother would be standing at the window looking for her children to be running down the road, headed for home.  As soon as we were inside  the house, a big smile would come across her face... no words were spoken but you knew  that you had been missed and we had missed our Mom. It has been a year and Mom we sure do miss you❤

Tuesday, November 29, 2016  would like to send a special "thanks" to family, friends, and neighbors who attended the funeral.  Thanks to those who took part in the service,  for the songs that were sung and the sweet memories that were spoken  of from family and friends.  Mother is in a better place, free from pain and no more worries.

The church family sang some of her favorite songs, spoke about her work in the church and how she had been faithful to her duties in the church, her home and to her family. Thank you church family for all the love, support and prayers❤

Moments after you departed, your family was in shock, they were tears of sadness, and hearts were broken. For those left behind; we comforted one another, tried to let go and yet we wanted to hold on to you just one more time. It was time to leave and we said our goodbyes. Love you, Mom❤
