Paul Wilcox, 81 of Lenoir went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 20, 2020.
He was born July 31, 1938 to the late Vance Wilcox and Dora Parsons Wilcox.
Aside from tinkering outside, he was a loving father. Paul also retired from Burnswood Products.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Wilcox, daughter; Debra Wilcox; siblings; Edna, Viola, Otis, Grady, Annie Mae, Clyde, and grandson; Bill Berry.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son; Jerry Wilcox and wife Jenny, daughters; Carolyn Hamby and husband Terry, Lisa Wilcox and husband Larry, Kathy Brawley and husband Terry, brothers; Billy Wilcox, Lee Wilcox, Clifford Wilcox, Hoover Wilcox, sister; Linda Hendrix along with six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 pm with Rev. Mike Greene and Dalton Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Jerry Wilcox, Terry Hamby, Jay Townsend, Justin Wilcox, Mike Shoemake and Chris Griffin

Paul loved his family. He was actually a very smart man. He knew how to do more things then most people. He shared some of his memories with me. One was his good old days of racing. Going down to Daytona hanging with the big boys. Richard Petty and so many more.
I will forever keep him in my heart. To his family you have such loving memories. I will keep you in my prayers. I love you all.
