Paula Lynn Carter

Paula Lynn Carter, age 54, of Hudson went to be with her Lord on Thursday, August 21, 2025, after a prolonged illness. Paula was born May 16, 1971, in Lenoir to Fredia Hartley and the late Paul Hartley

Left to cherish Paula's memory are her husband of 24 years Douglas Carter of Hudson, her sons Brandon Craddock of Lenoir and Alex Carter of Hudson, her mother Fredia Hartley of Hudson, her sister Teresa Benge (husband Scott) of Lenoir, her brothers Paul John Hartley of Morganton and Tracy Hartley (wife Erica) of Lenoir, and a bunch of friends.

She loved life, her family, her friends, and her dog Max. Paula was a skilled seamstress and craftsperson, who always had a DIY project going. She loved Jesus and she was born again in 1998. She will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025 at 7:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Ricky Greene. The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, August 25,2025 at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home.
