Pauline Messer Cline

Born December 24, 1920 in Gastonia, North Carolina she was the daughter of the late James Andrew Messer and Janie Morgan Norris. She was a former Nursing Assistant and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Mrs. Cline was preceded in death by her husband Thomas H. Cline; parents; one son; Richard Cline, three brothers and one sister. Those left to cherish her memory are her son Delbert Cline and wife Judy of Lenoir, daughters; Sue Watson and husband Gary of Lenoir, Barbara Brown of Hudson, one daughter-in-law, Belinda Cline, thirteen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.

A funeral service for Mrs. Cline will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 2:00PM with the Reverend Russell Cook officiating in the chapel of Pendry’s Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
