R. Brent Coleman

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Pat Fowler and his mother-in-law Ollie Storie.

Brent proudly served his country as a Petty Officer Second Class, Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy/Marine Corps. His love of growing flowers and coastal fishing will be our forever memories of him.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years Dot Coleman of Hudson, his daughter Britt Sterling (husband Rob) of Winston-Salem, his son Jason Coleman (wife Kim) of Newland, his three grandchildren Kyndall Weaver of Winston-Salem, Keigan Coleman and Aislyn Coleman of Newland, his sisters-in-law, who were like his sisters, Margaret Wilcox (R.D.) of Lenoir, Wayburn Braswell of Lenoir, Dianne Henderson (Tommy) of Charlotte, and Debbie Steele (Kenny) of Lenoir.

Special thanks to Donna Christie, Matthew Sessoms, Kim Craig, Denise Martin, and the entire staff at Autumn Care of Drexel for making his last earthly journey easier.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, February 3, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home, 522 Wilkesboro Blvd, Lenoir, NC 28645.

Military honors will be provided by the US Navy and the Caldwell County Veterans Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Hudson Volunteer Fire Department, 122 Mount Herman Road, Hudson, NC 28638.
