In addition to his parents, Richard was also preceded in death by his daughter Anna.
Left to cherish Richard's memory are his wife of 44 years Judy Brigham of Gamewell, his daughters Tina and Melissa of southern California, his son Scott (wife Heather) of Georgia, his four granddaughters, and his good friends Linda and Basil Roberts.
Richard worked as an associate for Walmart in Lenoir for 22 years. He enjoyed tinkering in his workshop and on his cars. He was an avid animal lover. Richard loved talking with people and helping them however he could. He was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
