Richard Henry Estes

Richard Henry Estes, 64, of Lenoir, passed away July 20, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. Estes was born July 11, 1952 in Caldwell County to Mary Watson Estes and the late William Henry Estes.

Mr. Estes was a loving son, brother. He worked in the construction industry for many years.

In addition to his father, Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Zembaty Estes, and a sister, Mary Estes.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Mary Watson Estes of Lenoir, brothers, James Estes and wife Billie of Lenoir, Wayne Estes and wife Alesa of Hudson, David Estes and wife Kama of Lenoir, sisters, Debra Grethen of Granite Falls, Nancy Cardwell and husband Robin of Hudson, Sharon Chester and boyfriend Dwight Wise of Chester and Valerie Triplett of Lenoir.

A Funeral Service to honor Mr. Estes will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 12: pm in the chapel of Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home with Reverend Glenn Ward officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Garden in Lenoir.

Serving as pallbearers will be James Estes Jr., Ethan Estes, Brandon Triplett, Josh Triplett and Scott Triplett.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pendry’s Funeral Home in care of the Estes Family.
