Rinda Arlea Hart

Mrs. Hart was born in Caldwell County to the late Rindia Greene Greene and Connor Joseph Greene. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, George Wade Hart; brothers, Vance Greene and Doyle Greene.

Arlea was a longtime member of Mountain Grove Baptist Church, a retiree from Blue Bell, Inc. and Fairfield Chair Company, a charter member of Rufus Baptist Church and a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary of North Catawba Fire Department.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughters Margaret Coffey Seagle and husband Dock of Hudson and Mildred “Mickey” Coffey Seagle of Lenoir; sisters, Lois Greene Riggs and LaVerne Greene Greene of Granite Falls, and Mabel Greene Davis of Hudson; sisters- in- law, Ann Hart Crowe and husband Mack of Lenoir, Dot Minton Greene of Hudson; grandchildren, Jacqueline Seagle Holman and husband Mike of Lenoir, Cyndee Seagle of Hickory, Karen Seagle Laws and husband Clinton of Lenoir, Scott Seagle and wife Melissa of Advance; great grandchildren, Tyler Holman and wife Lauren of Asheville, Aaron Laws of Lenoir, Kyle Laws and Kris Laws of Hickory, and Madeline Seagle of Advance and special close family friend, Lisa Cole.

A celebration of Arlea’s life will be held Monday, December 29, 2014, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home with her nephew, Reverend Ron Greene of Oakgrove Baptist Church in Newland officiating. The family will receive friends at Pendry’s prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Mountain Grove Church Cemetery following the service.
