Robert Dennis Mullinax Sr.

Mr. Mullinax was born in San Diego, California to the late MT Mullinax, Jr. and Louise Raby Mullinax. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Deloris Barrett, a grandson, Levi Mullinax, a nephew, Bradley Goforth and a niece, Kathleen Crolla.

He was retired from the furniture industry, served in the U. S. Army and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Judy McDade Mullinax of the home; his son, Robert D. Mullinax, Jr. and wife Melisa of Granite Falls; his daughters, Melisa Mullinax Guy and husband Jonathan of Ohio, and Regina Mullinax of Hudson; a brother, Lynn Mullinax and wife Linda of Hudson; sisters, Rita Reese and Husband Joel of Tennessee, Rebecca Bentley of Hudson and Regina Goforth and husband Michael “Red” of Hudson; his grandchildren, Casey Mullinax, Samantha Mullinax, Charlie Mullinax and Taylor Mullinax and a great granddaughter, Abby Mullinax.

A funeral service will be held Friday, March 21, 2014 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church at 4:00 p.m. with Reverend Clyde Bumgarner, Mr. Tommy Jones and Reverend David Jones officiating. The burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Bentley, Lucas Bentley, Brian Mullinax, Landon Price, Joey Mullinax, Jordan Mullinax, Seth Nash, Ray Croon and Charlie Mullinax.
