Ronny George Harris, age 69 of Lenoir, went to be with The Lord on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Born Sunday, May 3, 1953 to the late George and Irene Harris in Caldwell County NC.
In addition to his parents he is proceeded in death by his sister Sherrie Barger.
Mr. Harris is survived by his soul mate Carol Knorp Harris of Lenoir. Ronny leaves behind a son Charles Phillip Harris and daughter Kelly Harris McCall, and son in-law Josh McCall, along with his 6 grand-children; Kolten, Kaleb, Kerston, Kassie, Kori, and Kara, also one great grand-child Maylinn. Ronny also leaves behind one brother Billy Joe Harris with sister in-law Phillis.
Ronny will be remembered for loving his family and friends, taking road trips, driving in Caldwell County. He loved the business he built, pizza, and listening to Elvis, preaching, and gospel music.
The Harris family will receive friends Friday, September 9, 2022 from 10:00 am - 10:45 am at Pendry's Funeral Home.
The Funeral Service for Ronny will be held at Pendry's Funeral Home on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 11:00 am with the Pastor Harold Joplin officiating.
Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, cemetery 1787 Cajah Mountain Rd, Hudson, NC.
