Roy Delton Vinson

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Judy Mae Vinson, his grandfather Jimmie Cornett, and the mother of his daughter Ashley Keller.

Left to cherish Roy's memory are his father Roy Ronald Vinson, Jr.; his mother Jenny Maybelle Luckel; his daughters Sadie Brooke Vinson and Journee Ann Keller; his significant other Corrine Grace Eller; his brother Ronald Matthew Vinson; his grandmother Edna Lou Cornett; his uncles Steve Vinson and William Cornett; his aunts Rhonda Stidham and Pat Cornett; his nephew Elijah Vinson; and many cousins.

Roy was an accomplished welder and brick mason. He worked for Bakers Waste Equipment and Neil Dellinger Masonry. Roy will be remembered as a loving father and beloved son.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM on Friday, May 29, 2026 at Refuge Missionary Baptist Church, 375 Mount Herman Rd., Hudson, NC 28638.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM on Friday, May 29, 2026 at Refuge Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor Darren Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir.

Serving as pallbearers will be William Cornett, Steve Vinson, Parker Vinson, Matthew Vinson, Danny Greene, and Ethan Fleenor.
