Ms. Hunt was born in Norfolk, Virginia on January 17, 1948 to the late Rufus Albert Crossley and Reba Elizabeth Grigg Crossley of Hickory, NC.
In addition to her mother, those left to cherish her memory are her lifelong partner of twenty-five years, Steve Dula; two sons, Marcus Hunt of Hickory, NC and Dustin Dula of Hudson, NC; two daughters, Deeann Hunt of Lenoir, NC and Michelle Maltba of Hickory, NC; and one brother, Ronald G. Crossley of Hickory, NC; five grandsons; two granddaughters; and one great granddaughter.
