Shirley Price

Shirley Price, age 82, passed away on September 15, 2026. She had the blessed hope that she will be resurrected when Jesus comes again in the clouds of glory to meet Him in the air and live with Him forever. She was born on May 5, 1944 to the late Daniel Boone Price and the late Bessie Summerow Price.

Shirley was a member of the Lenoir Seventh Day Adventist Church. She loved her church family and they loved her. Her church and her faith in God was all she had and all she needed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roy Lee Price, two daughters, Teresa Renee Price-Dalton, and Ruth Laws,two brothers, Daniel Boone Price Jr, infant Joseph Elijah Price and a a brother-in-law, Johnny Laws.

She is survived by a cousin, Mary Earp, several nieces and nephews and her church family.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at Lenoir Seventh Day Adventist Church at 518 Pennell Street NE, Lenoir, NC 28645 at 7:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Wait officiating.

A private burial will take place at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir.
