Stephen Douglas Laws

Mr. Laws was born in Caldwell County to Douglas Larry Laws and Carolyn Jeanette Abee Laws Griffin of Caldwell County. He was employed as a mechanic and was a graduate of Hibriten High School, class of 1988.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Tressie Lee Lanzorotto and Colene Nora Hoke and a grandfather, William Laws.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Sabrina Robbins Laws of the home; his sons, Andrew Grogan and Casey Newton, both of Lenoir; his step-daughter, Nikki Newton of Lenoir; his sisters, Laura Laws Brewer, Lori Hall Gragg and Deanna Hall Stafford, all of Lenoir; his step-mother, Linda Jenkins Laws of Lenoir; his grandfather, Phillip Lanzorotto of Lenoir; and uncles, Kenneth and Charles Laws, both of Lenoir.

The Laws family will receive friends Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:30 p.m. at Pendry’s Funeral Home.
