Tammy Diane Watson Jones

Tammy was born on October 12, 1967 in Caldwell County to Jay Howell and Clyda Diane Watson Haynes.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband Derrick Jones.

Tammy had a very bubbly personality. She could light up a room, just by walking into it. She was friendly and outgoing, never meeting a stranger. She had the amazing gift of being able to make others smile. Tammy was an avid supporter of the ASPCA because she had a true love for animals.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory include her step-father, Howard Haynes, a brother, Draven Watson and wife Cheilo of Lenoir and several paternal brothers and sisters.

A funeral service to honor Tammy’s memory will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home with Rev. John Powell officiating. Burial will be immediately following the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cecil Haynes, Mark Annas, Gene Watson, Johnny Watson, Draven Watson and Matthew Morgan.
