Mrs. Freeman was born April 9, 1955 in Caldwell County to the late Paul Adams and Myrtle Frances Norton Adams.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Dale Freeman, a son, Justin Freeman, a sister, Keva Ann Barlowe and her mother and father-in-law, Joseph and Helen Freeman.
Teresa was of the Baptist faith and was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She focused her time and energy in caring for her family. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joys in life. Teresa was known for being full of love, life and laughter. She also had an artistic flair which she expressed when painting stained glass. She enjoyed reading, aerobics, and caring for others whenever she had the opportunity.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Joseph Adam Freeman and wife Julie of Harrisburg, grandchildren, Ally and Jocie Freeman of Harrisburg, Tyler and Austin Freeman of Lenoir, a sister, Paula Adams of Lenoir, a sister-in-law, Lynette McClendon and husband Mickey of York, South Carolina and a brother-in-law, Dee Freeman and wife Emily of Raleigh. Also left to cherish her memory is her special friend Bryan Carroll and a lifelong friend, Wilma Hicks of Lenoir.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 in the chapel of Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with Rev. Simeron Hamby officiating.
Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir.
Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family respectfully requests no visitation or deliveries at the home before or after the service.
