Terry Lee Oxford

Terry Oxford, 68, of Hudson passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Frye Regional Hospital in Hickory. He was born in Caldwell County to the late George Lee and Lucille Grace Oxford on October 5, 1947. Terry loved the beach and playing golf. He was an avid Duke fan and a loving Father to his two daughters Brittany and Shelley. He will be dearly missed.

Along with his Parents, Terry is preceded in death by his Grandparents; Willie-Jo and Christina Benfield, and Uncle; Millard Benfield, and an Aunt Neverta Benfield.

Those left to cherish his memory include his Daughters; Shelley Oxford of Lenoir and Brittany Oxford of Hudson, a Sister; Diana Maltba (husband Gary) of Lenoir, and a Man’s Best Friend; Teddy.

Funeral services for Terry will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A private family burial will follow.
