Vera Lee McGee Clark, 92, of Caldwell County, went to be with her heavenly father on Friday, October 18, 2019 at Lenoir Health Care. She was born in Caldwell County to the late Henry William McGee and Cora Lee McGee. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Pauline Brooks. Those left to cherish her memory are her previous husband Ned Bail Clark, children; Terry Clark and wife Debra, Keith Clark, Brian Clark, Sheila Greer, sister; Mary Eckenrod, grandchildren; Jason, Kimberly, Julie, Amber, Billy, Rebecca, Katherine, Christine, great grand children; Jacob, Savannah, Sierra, Veronica, Coraleigh, Serenity, great great grandchildren; Darci, Lincoln, nieces ; June Woodruff, Jackie Coffey, nephews; Page Brooks and Michael Eckenrod. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 in the Chapel of Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home at 2:30 PM with Pastor Dan Preston officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Burial will follow the service at Hollow Springs Church Cemetery. Mrs. Clark was a wonderful lady and a friend to my mother. Her family and I were friends for a very long time, especially her daughter Sheila and her family. My most sincere condolences to the all the family on the loss of your mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.
