Vincente "Vince" Alan Adenau

He was preceded in death by his daughter McKenzie Hingson-Adenau, his mother Sherri Hollar, and his great-grandmother Louise Hollar.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Renee, Taylor, and Ryker; his brother Christopher Hollar (wife Jennifer); his nephew Noah; his chosen brother Jacob (wife Jennifer); his sister Jennifer Thompson; special friends Amanda, Brandy, Christina, Nova, Crystal and Xavier and Xara, Heather, CJ, Andy, and Scott; and many other beloved friends and chosen family.

Since Vince was three years old, he would take apart anything from a lawn mower to a VCR. He would put them back together, even if a screw was missing. He played football and wrestled when he attended Hudson Middle School and West Caldwell High School. Vince worked as a mechanic for many years, and loved his cars. He would go to the drag strip with his brother and friends. For the past two years, Vince has been working at Harlee Packaging, Inc., where he cultivated wonderful new relationships.

Vince was a caring, good-hearted man, who would do anything for anyone. He always had a smile on his face. Vince was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home, 522 Wilkesboro Blvd., Lenoir, NC 28645.
