Born March 13, 1935, She was the daughter of the late Retha Harrison and Daisy McGee Harrison.
She was a member of Little Rock Baptist Church. She was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She worked hard to provide for her family. Her friends were precious to her.
Surviving Mrs. Andrews are two sons, Rev. Dwayne Andrews and wife Susie and Timothy Andrews and wife Carla all residing in Boomer, two granddaughters, Katie Andrews Osborne and husband Jacob of Hays, Brittany Andrews Stikes and husband Daniel of Purlear, five great grandsons, Reeves Osborne, Noah Osborne, Silas Osborne, Ezekiel Stikes and Isaiah Stikes.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, the late Hartley Andrews, her parents and one sister Louise Harrison Sherrill.
Mrs. Andrews worked outside the home in her earlier years. After that, she began sewing and making country crafts, particularly dolls, and taking them to craft fairs and antique shows to sell.
She enjoyed a lot of things like listening to Southern Gospel music, reading magazines, camping and gardening. She really loved flowers and back when she was able, had a beautiful yard and flower garden.
She enjoyed traveling to the antique farm machine shows with her husband where she always met with her friends and sold her crafts. When they were younger, she and Hartley enjoyed traveling and even riding motorcycles on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Little Rock Baptist Church in Boomer with Pastor Hal Greene and Rev. Dwayne Andrews officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:45 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Osborne, Daniel Stikes, Reeves Osborne, Noah Osborne, Ezekiel Stikes and Tommy Livingston with two junior pallbearers, Silas Osborne and Isaiah Stikes.
