Bill was born November 16, 1959 in Caldwell County to the late J B Blevins and Mary Ellen Smart Blevins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Bobby Blevins and a sister Jean Blevins Correll.
Bill was a free spirit, and a huge lover of Bluegrass and Country music. He was much loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Joshua “Josh” Matthew Blevins of Hickory, two sisters, Janice Blevins Brackett of Lenoir, Sandra Blevins Petro of Cleveland, OH, and several nieces nephews and extended family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and announced at that time.
