I was sorry to hear of Dean's passing. I really enjoyed the communications we shared over the years. We became, I feel, close friends even though we never had the chance to meet. He had many of the same questions I had about certain issues concerning our family. He will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Our condolences to all. He'll be greatly missed in our lives.

To Fran, Frankie, Buddy and Alex: My heart goes out to you during this time.  I didnt get to spend alot of time with Dr. Steward but I really grew to love him and respect him.  He will be greatly missed.  You, four, have done an excellent job of caring for him and loving him.  I'm honored, I had the chance to know all of you.  May God comfort you all. You are in my prayers.

It seems I've known Dr. Steward all my life... and although very few years were spent with him and his wonderful family, the impact was life changing. They gave me a lesson about Jesus, not through verses, but by example. I do sincerely owe my Christian life to the whole family. 
Dr. Steward was more than a DEAN... he was Godly and blessed and I was blessed to have been a small part of his family's life.

My condolences to the family during this time of grief. May our heavenly father provide comfort during this time for he is near to those broken at heart. Ps 34:17,18
