Angelene Clarice Schoenrock Martin

Funeral services for Angelene Martin, 76, of Levelland will be 10:00 am, Friday, July 13, 2012 in the First United Methodist Church, Levelland, Texas with Rev. Rusty Dickerson, pastor, and Rev. James Schoenrock officiating. Burial will be in City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland. Angie died Monday, July 9, 2012 in Levelland.

Born on March 9, 1936 to Emmett Otto and Clarice Louise (Ludwig) Schoenrock in Clifton, Texas, she was a longtime resident of Levelland. She graduated from Levelland High School and attended McMurry College. Angie worked for Lubbock Production Credit for over 40 years. She married Leonard Martin on March 10, 1956 in Levelland and he preceded her in death on June 18, 2004. Angie was also preceded in death by two brothers, Emmett Gene Schoenrock, Ronald Paul Schoenrock and a great granddaughter: Rebecca Damaris Martin. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Levelland where she was active with her Sunday School class and she was also active with the Hockley County Senior Citizens.

Survivors include two sons: Donnie Martin of Levelland, Texas; Randy Martin of Brownfield, Texas; a daughter: Elaine Jones of Lakewood, Colorado and a sister: Janice Phelan of Plano,Texas and eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Hockley County Meals on Wheels, 1202 Houston St., Levelland, Texas.
