Anna Janett Hays
June 19, 1930 – September 8, 2016
Janett Hays passed away on September 8, 2016 at the age of 86. She was a 1947 graduate of Abernathy High School. She also resided in Sundown, Levelland and Lubbock, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Palmer Hays; a son, William (Bill) Hays, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and a grandson, John Nance.
She is survived by 4 children: Linda Adamson, Matilda Boozer, Bonnie Kendrick, and James Hays; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was a member of Second Baptist Church of Levelland, Texas. The family suggests memorials be made to the South Plains Food Bank and or Second Baptist Church.
