Annie Mae Butler

Memorial services for Ann Butler, 90, of Levelland will be at 10:00 am, Friday, January 17, 2014 in the George Price Funeral Chapel with George Fahrlender, officiating. Cremation is under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland. She died on January 14, 2014 in Levelland.

Ann was born on May 5, 1923 in O’Donnell, Texas to Antone and Sophie (Swenson) Hansen and was raised in Morton, Texas. She attended Morton Schools.

Ann married Melvin V. Butler on June 20, 1953 and he preceded her in death in 1974. She worked with Melvin at the By-Lo Trim Shop and then later worked for Dr. George Payne.

Survivors include her daughters: Linda Richardson of Levelland, Texas and Rhea Ann Tubbs of Lubbock, Texas, a son: Melvin V. Butler, Jr. of Hurst, Texas; two brothers: Hugh Hansen of Morton, Texas and Walt Hansen of Lubbock, Texas; four sisters: Marie Blackaller and Maggie Pearson, both of Kerrville, Texas; Chris Ervin of Tomball, Texas and Louise Moffett, Boerne, Texas; her grandchildren: Tanna, Troy, Veronica, Sean, Terri and Lauren: her great grandchil-dren: Whitney, Heather, Konnor, Bailey, Parker, Sasha, Emily and Eli; and her great grandchildren: Cannon and Barron.
