Bonnie Jean Land Stogsdill

Graveside services for Bonnie Jean Stogsdill, 83, of Levelland will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, February 27, 2013 in City of Levelland Cemetery with Rev. Michael Holster, pastor, Second Baptist Church, Levelland, officiating. Burial is under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland. She died Friday, February 22, 2013 in Levelland.

Bonnie was born on August 14, 1929 in Kilgore, Texas to James and Oma (Minor) Land. She was a longtime Levelland resident. She rode the bus to Phoenix, Arizona where she married Marvin Doyle Stogsdill on June 27, 1946. He preceded her in death on June 12, 1997. Bonnie was a member of Second Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters: Joyce Harlow of San Antonio, Texas and Trema Morris of Levelland, Texas; a brother: Leonard Land of Levelland; two sisters: Shirley McDonald of Breckenridge, Texas and Emma Brakebill of Idabell, Oklahoma; three sisters in law: Kathy Land and Cherry Land, both of Levelland and Helga Land of Killeen, Texas; four grandchildren: Lynn Harlow, Jeffory Harlow, Shellie Parr and Jennifer Harlow and nine great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a great grandson: Marvin Samuel Paterson.
