Charles William “Chuck” Burnett, 71, of Sundown passed away on October 21, 2015 in Sundown. A family visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, October 22,2015, at George Price Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 23, 2015, at the Sundown Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the Sundown Cemetery. Chuck was born in Michigan on March 1, 1944 to parents James M. and Bronnie Ethel Burnett. He married Judith Shockley on June 7, 1969 in Knott, Texas. Chuck served our country for eleven years in the United States Army, and retired from the City of Sundown. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and son Billy. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Melissa Woodard; granddaughters, Kimberly and Miranda Ortiz; and great-grandchildren, Zaydon and Averi Ortiz.
