Donnie Ray Green

Funeral services for Donnie Ray Green, 64, of Levelland will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, September 7, 2013 at First Assembly of God Church, Levelland with Pastor Robert Burns, officiating. urial will be in City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday, September 6, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. He died on September 3, 2013 in Levelland.

Donnie was born on April 24, 1949 in Amherst, Texas to Donald William and Mary Edna (Sutton) Green. He was a veteran of the US Army. He worked as a driller in the oilfield from 1974 until 1990 and then in 1990 he started driving a trucking and continued doing so until his health began to fail. He married Billie Pierce on February 1, 1974 in Clovis, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by three children: Donnie Green, Jr. Tiffany Green, and Justin Green.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Green of Levelland, four daughter: Ashley Burgio and her husband, Paul, Amy Green, and Kim Little, all of Levelland, and Deanna Green of Houston, his brother: Jimmy Green of Hallsville, Texas, his step mother: Dorothy Green of Bonham, Texas and three grandsons, three granddaughters and a great-grandson.
