Dorthy Mae Nations Haile

Funeral services for Dorthy Mae Haile, 77, of Levelland will be 10:00 am, Monday, November 5, 2012 in George Price Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Bruce Cotton of Lubbock, Texas, officiating. Burial will be in City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Sunday, November 4, 2012. Dorthy died Saturday, November 3, 2012 in Levelland.

Born on July 23, 1935 in Sunkist, Oklahoma to Elmer Dee and Viola Mae (Shaw) Nations, she moved to Levelland, Texas in 1953 from Porterville, California. She was a homemaker and a member of College Avenue Baptist Church, Levelland.

Survivors include: her husband, James A. (Dock) Haile of Levelland, Texas; a son: Jerry Don Haile and his wife, Tana of Levelland, Texas; three daughters: Kathy Jerome and her husband Chuck of Snyder, Texas; Patsy Coffman and her husband, Randy and Donette Lopez, both of Levelland, Texas: two brothers: Tom Nations of Levelland, Texas and Jake Nations of Argonia, Kansas; and a sister; Judy Rincones of Levelland, Texas: fourteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother: N. D. Nations on January 7, 2004 and a son Elton Eugene Haile in 1958.
