Eldon Lynn Wright

Eldon Lynn Wright, 94, of Levelland passed away January 4, 2016 in Lubbock. A family visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, from 5:00-8:00 pm at the Eldon Wright’s home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, Janu-ary 7, 2016, at the George Price Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery. Eldon was born November 19, 1921 in Silver Valley, Texas to parents Dafford Clay and Annie Allene (Vardeman) Wright. He married Margie Ann Lambert in Seminole, Texas on February 2, 1943. Eldon was a farmer/rancher and retired from Amoco after 30 years of service. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Levelland. He is preceded in death by his wife Margie Ann Lambert Wright; granddaughter Elaina Bolden; brothers Furber and Clay D. Wright, and sister Robbie. Eldon is survived by daughters, Carol (Don) Payne and Joline (Doug) Bolden; son, Eldon (Carla) Wright, Jr.; grandchildren, Donny (Tracie) Payne, Tyge (Jennifer) Payne, Tray (Heidi) Payne, Camie (Jace) Rowland, Elizabeth (Matt) Howe, Nicole Wright and Rebecca Wright; and 15 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Eldon’s memory be directed to Second Baptist Church in Levelland.
