Hilda Florine Blackard

Hilda F. Blackard, 91, of Levelland, passed away on May 9, 2018, after a lengthy stay at Lynwood Nursing and Rehab facility. Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018, at 10:00 am at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Levelland. She was a member of the First Assembly of God church and resident of Levelland for 61 years. Mrs. Blackard was born in Haskell, TX, on June 21, 1926, to E.G. and Leora Graham. She is preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Graham and sister, Juanita Brewer. She married J.L. Blackard and had two sons, Don and Jay Blackard. She is survived by her son Jay,(Daughter/Granddaughter) Brandie Coppin; grandchildren; Kristilen Blackard, Amy Sawyer, Mistie Smith, Kathy Horne, Amy Achterberg and Keesha Fullington; great grandchildren, Keith, Ashley, Jeff, Jack, Allison, Stetson, Kyler, Kelsie, Alexis and Sarah; great-great grandsons, Kaiden O. and Kaiden S. In lieu of flowers, please make donation in Hilda’s name to the Lynwood Nursing and Rehab activity fund.
