Funeral services for Jason Neil Patton, 32, of Myrtle Beach, SC will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Second Baptist Church, Levelland with Rev. Gil Ramirez, pastor, Park Drive Baptist Church, Levelland officiating. Burial will be in City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 from 9:00am until 11:00am . He died Tuesday, February 1, 2011 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Born on December 25, 1978 in Tyler, Texas to Ron Patton and Dorothy Ruzich Patton, he moved to Levelland in 1979 from Tyler. He attended Levelland High School and graduated in 1997. He attended Texas Tech and North Texas University. He was continuing his education at the University of South Carolina. He married Jodi Group on February 17, 2007 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Jason was preceded in death by his father in 1982.

Survivors include his wife: Jodi Patton of Myrtle Beach South Carolina; his children: Mia, Andrew and Sophia, all of the home, his parents: Dorothy and Joe Richardson of Levelland, Texas; his step-father: Don Neill of Levelland, Texas; his brothers: Justin Mendez of Little Rock, Arkansas and Jeremy Neill of Lubbock, Texas; his sisters: Jennifer Neill of Moline, Illinois; and Jessica Rodriguez and husband, Berto of Okinawa, Japan, his Nana and Papaw: Maggie and Andy Ruzich of Levelland, Texas; his Special Aunt and Uncle: Annie and Tony Cardona of Denton, Texas; seven nieces and nephews;Gage, Gabi, Gavin, Grayson, Mailei, Jaxon, and Brooklyn; his parents in law: Gary and Sandra Group of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; his sister in law: Ashley Group of Corpus Christi, Texas; and his brother in law: Matt Group of Charleston, South Carolina.
