Jesus "Red Dog" Jose Zamora

Memorial services for Jesus Jose “Red Dog” Zamora will be held Friday, November 2, 2012 at 2:00 pm at St Michaels Catholic Church, Levelland, Texas. Rosary will be said from 1:30 pm until 2:00 pm, Friday at the church. Cremation services are under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland. Jessie died on Thursday, October 25, 2012 in Levelland.

Jessie was born on February 8, 1949 in Levelland to Antonio and Sofia (Morales) Zamora. He attended Levelland schools and in 1969 joined the US Army and served in South Korea. Upon his discharge from the service, he returned to Levelland and went to work for Musslewhite Trucking, where he worked for 14 years. He started driving a truck and traveled the United States until his health caused his retirement. He was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Zamora, Jr. in 1956; a niece, Angela Frescaz in 1992 and a nephew, Corey Frescaz in 1997.

He is survived by his mother: Sofia Zamora, Levelland and Midland, Texas; his sister; Lydia Frescaz of Midland, Texas; a brother: Luis Zamora of San Antonio, Texas; his nieces and nephews, Becky Sotelo and her husband, Greg; Tony Frescaz and his wife, Jennifer, Lee Frescaz and Bradley Frescaz, all of Midland, Texas; Chris Frescaz and his wife, Myra of McKinney; Jared Zamora of San Antonio, Texas; Victoria Linne and her husband, Will of Vacaville, California; Tony Zamora and his wife, Cassie of Stafford, Virginia; Chris Zamora and his wife, Meagan of Savannah, Georgia; his great nieces and nephews: Rachael Sotelo and Anna , Ethan, Jasmine, Nathan and Benjamin Frescaz; Stefanie and Careesa Zamora; and Victoria and Chloe Linne.
