Katherine Farmer Seale

Graveside Services for Katherine Farmer Seale, 82, of Lubbock will be 1:00 pm, Monday, July 9, 2012 in City of Levelland Cemetery with Rev. Chip Polk, officiating. Burial will be under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland, Texas. She died Saturday, July 7, 2012 in Lubbock.

Katherine was born on April 16, 1930 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Forrest and Pearl (Inzer) Farmer. She moved to Midland, Texas in 1950 where she was employed at Midland College until her retirement in 1997. She had only recently moved to Lubbock because of her health.

Survivors include her son: Larry Seale of Mt. Vernon, Texas: two daughters: Karen Floyd of Keller, Texas and Charla Showalter of Lubbock, a brother: James Farmer of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister: Charlotte Farmer Mears in 1950.

The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
