Kattie Marie Madry

Funeral services for Kattie “Kay” Marie Madry (89) of Lubbock will be Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 2 pm at St Michaels Catholic Church in Levelland, Texas. Kattie passed away on October 13, 2014 in Lubbock, Texas.

Kay was born on May 21, 1925 in Montague Texas to parents Mike and Mary Ricca Veretto. She attended Levelland High School and Eddy County Beauty School. She married Keith Van Madry on July 14, 1946 in Littlefield, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband Keith Madry and five brothers and two sisters.

Kay enjoyed cooking, real Italian pizza, homemade dinner rolls and rum cakes.

Kay is survived by a son Michael Keith Madry and wife Nancy of Los Lunas, NM; a daughter Shirley Kirkwood of Centennial Co.; a sister Evelyn Palmer of Levelland; two grandsons Douglas Patty of Centennial Co. and Greg Madry of Carlsbad NM; granddaughter Kristen Duresky and husband David of Northhome MN; also numerous nieces and nephews.
