Kenneth DeVerle (Dee) Parkman, 85, of Levelland passed away July 12, 2015 in Lubbock, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, July 20, 2015, in the George Price Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery. Dee was born April 12, 1930 in Bula, Texas to Charlie and Zadie Parkman, who preceded him in death. He retired from the Maintenance Department at Lubbock Christian University and was a member of 13th & Ave. K Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Gena Parkman; children, Barbara Sapia and husband Mike, Trisha Hughes and husband Steve, and Gary Parkman and wife Pamela; sister, Wannell Piercey; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Dee's memory to the New Mexico Christian Children's Home in Portales, New Mexico.
